Thermalright HR-07 Trio - Type L

When you overclock your RAM you're not only increasing speed and performance - you're also increasing the heat production. Overclocked RAM can easily become up to 10 degrees warmer than the RAM running at standard speed. The heat is often the culprit when you cannot push your RAM just a bit more, or when they fail and the computer freezes.

Some manufacturers have tried to remove the heat by putting heat spreaders on their RAM modules. But experts know that the heat the heat spreader has collected has nowhere to vanish - and the constant heat from the RAM modules makes the heat spreaders useless.
